Declaratia de credinta

We belive that the Holy Scriptures, both the Old and the New Testaments, are fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error in the original manuscripts, infallible, and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
(Psalm 119:16; 2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 1:21)

We belive
in one God, immutable, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Malachi 3:6; Revelation 4:8; Colossians 1:17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We belive
that man was created in the image of God, but through Adam's sin became alienated from God, acquired a sin nature, and came under the judicial sentence of death. As a consequence man is lost, unable to save himself from the wrath of God, and needs to be saved only through faith in the atoning work of Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:1; Romans 3:23; 1Corinthians 15:20-23)

We belive
in the Lord Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, sinless and perfect, the only Savior. We believe that He carried our sins in His body on the cross, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is now at the right hand of God, mediating for us. We believe in the personal and physical return of Christ in power and glory. (Hebrews 1:8; John 19:28; Colossians 1:15; Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 4:15; 1Peter 2:24; 1Corinthians 15:3-8; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 8:34)

We belive
that salvation is a gift of God sovereignly offered by grace to those who repent and place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; and that, all who truly believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit and thus eternally saved on the basis of Christ's shed blood. (Ephesians 2:8; 1:7; Acts 3:19; 1Peter 1:3; 1John 3:1)

We belive
in God the Holy Spirit, who glorifies Christ, convicts men of sin, and indwells all believers to convict, enlighten, sanctify, empower, fill and guide them in life and service. (John 15:26; 16:8-11; 3:5; 14:17; Acts 13:1-4; 1Corinthians 12: 4-6; 2Timothy 1:7; Ephesians 5:18)

We belive
that the true Church is composed of persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is Head. Christ commanded the church to make disciples of all peoples, by going into all the world, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that He commanded. Water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age. They are, however, not a means of salvation, (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:42; Colossians 1:18; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

We belive
in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto eternal life with God, and they that are lost unto eternal conscious punishment separated from God. (John 5:22:29; Psalm 16:11; Revelation 20:12-15)

We belive
in the premillennial, personal, visible, imminent and triumphant coming of Christ before the great tribulation. This is the believer's blessed hope and it is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. (Hebrews 10:37; Acts 1:11; lThessalonians4:16; Revelation 1:7; Luke 21:27; 1John 3:3)
